Chartered Institute of Educational Practitioners UK (CIEPUK) is a professional body registered in the United Kingdom. Our dedication to quality education in the UK and the rest of the world is the basis of who we are, and we are committed to promoting quality education in developing countries — especially in Africa — through the teachers who are directly involved in training and academic work.
CIEPUK is a multi-disciplinary education organisation mandated to promote educational development in Nigeria and the rest of Africa by providing training and support to educational practitioners in the region. Our vision is to keep the knowledge and skills of education professionals at par with global standards.
Today CIEPUK has over 10,000 registered members from every stage of a career in education — students, bachelor’s degree holders, master’s degree holders and PhD holders.

Originally established in the United Kingdom in January 2018, CIEPUK follows a five-fold philosophy to stay true to its mandate.
- Inform
educational practitioners about the growing need for capacity building among students, so they keep pace with local and international university and graduate-school standards.
- Empower & motivate
educational practitioners to deepen their passion for their vocation, and grow as education service providers through research and development, funding and welfare programmes.
- Initiate & facilitate
partnerships between education investors and the people who deliver education and entrepreneurship projects in Nigeria and beyond.
- Provide
scholarship funds for Nigerian and international students.
- Offer
education consultancy to national and local governments in Nigeria, to institutions and to education stakeholders around the world.
