Amb. Prof. Marcel Okechukwu Ezenwoye

Amb. Prof. Marcel Okechukwu Ezenwoye is the CEO and President of the Chartered Institute of Educational Practitioners UK. He is an entrepreneur and academic who has worked extensively across Africa, the UK and elsewhere. He earned his PhD at St. Monica University and later received his professorship, with many other awards and accolades for his work. His ability to communicate, mentor and network has been pivotal to the success of CIEPUK.

Over the years he has led, negotiated and implemented strategic joint ventures, projects and programmes regionally, nationally and internationally, and has been instrumental in driving international trade and investment in Africa.

He has led capacity-building programmes that encourage young people to embrace entrepreneurship — reducing economic dependency as a way out of poverty and crime, and helping to build better communities.

His work developing CIEPUK has strengthened entrepreneurial capacity in educational development, industrial development, trade and investment. CIEPUK works with the public and private sectors to strengthen policy, build human-resource capacity and close gaps in public service delivery.

With a proven record in strategic leadership, business and management, he is approachable, energetic and articulate, with strong team-building and interpersonal skills.
